4/2/23 A Yet Now Praise

Scripture: Habakkuk 3:17-19

  1. Be careful with the words we speak
  2. ​2 Cor. 10:4-5
  3. Cast thoughts from your mind that aren’t in alignment with God’s word
  4. What do you do when people you love turn their backs on the God you serve?
  5. Habakkuk 1:2
  6. God’s response to the injustice in v. 5-11
  7. There are consequences to sin
  8. v. 16 Habakkuk’s knees got weak when he knew what was about to happen
  9. ​v. 17, 18, 19 helps us see how to turn a withdrawal into a deposit
  10. He acknowledged the reality of his situation. When we talk about turning withdrawals into deposits, we have to acknowledge the reality, but still turn it into a deposit
  11. v. 18 yet…I will rejoice!
  12. ​I still have God!
  13. Habakkuk 2:4 The just shall live by his faith
  14. ​In the midst of everything going on, still live by faith
  15. ​God is my strength and source of all my resources
  16. God will anoint your feet like deer feet so you will to slip and fall and can go up to high places
  17. We go through the valley and not stay in the valley
  18. Recognize that God is your strength! v. 19
  19. He will give you what you need to stable you
  20. God is our strength. He will anoint our feet that we will not slip
